Junaid Ahmed has been in practice since 2014. He has extensive experience in mergers & acquisitions, private equity investments, venture capital investments, and related documentation and negotiation, legal due diligence of companies across sectors, having represented both investors and investee companies. He has advised a variety of domestic and international clients in the e-commerce, fintech, non-banking finance, education, and insurance sectors on fund raising, mergers and acquisitions, structuring, exits, and exchange control regulations He has previously worked at renowned law firms in India.

In his most recent role, he was a part of the legal team of a large and well-regarded renewable energy company headquartered in Telangana, India, where apart from routinely advising the commercial teams on high value commercial contracts including power purchase contracts, EPC contracts, operations and maintenance contracts, he also offered counsel and support to the management teams, from time to time, on risk mitigation strategies and on dispute resolution strategies.
